This is more than an event. Everyone who attends will be seen and heard as a vital part of the community and recognized as a valued member of the whole. 

The focus of this pow-wow this year will be belonging and purpose. Helping those who have had trauma limit them in the past, to see that those experiences are motivation for a better life. When we accept and are accountable for our part in those events, we can see where we can respond to life and not just react. One of the ways that we can see spiritual healing is through the songs and dances that our Native American brothers and sisters, as well as prayer and story telling.
